God werkt met je, niet voor je

Many people pray to God to beg favors and do yourself nothing to improve their situation and to program their subconscious with negative information and expect even that it will turn out well and that God will save them,,nl,I once heard a story of Deelder,,nl,It was about the flood in Zeeland,,nl,standing water,,nl,meters high and a boat came along and they asked the man to step in,,nl,To their amazement, the man said, "No.,,nl,I put my trust in God,,nl,The Lord will rescue me ',,nl,A moment later, the water is,,nl,meters high and is the man already on the first floor and there is another boat along again the man says that God will save him and not get into,,nl.

Ik hoorde ooit een verhaal van Jules Deelder. Het ging over de watersnoodramp in Zeeland. Het water stond 1 meter hoog en er kwam een bootje langs en ze vroegen aan de man om in te stappen. Tot hun stomme verbazing zei de man ‘Nee, ik heb m’n vertrouwen in God gesteld, de Heer zal me redden’. Even later is het water 2,5 meter hoog en is de man al op de eerste verdieping en er komt weer een bootje langs opnieuw zegt de man dat God hem zal redden en stapt niet in. God werkt door de mensen heen en we moeten dat ook willen zien en er oog voor hebben, wie is voor wie een bootje dat redding brengt?

I often say:’Vertrouw op God maar doe je deur op slot’. Wat je zelf kunt doen moet je niet nalaten.

Toen liepen ze naar een braak stuk land met distels en brandnetels en veel onkruid en toen zei de boer tegen de pastoor:’En hier heeft God het werk alleen gedaan!!’

Als je God buiten je plaatst dan zit je in je ego en voel je je afgescheiden. M’n moeder zag God als een straffende, oordelende, jaloerse God en dat had een hele negatieve invloed op haar en haar omgeving. In de Bijbel staat:’U geschiede naar uw geloof’ en m’n moeder was dan ook heel getormenteerd en ernstig, ze lachte bijna nooit en maakte nooit een grapje. Ze strafte ook zichzelf.

Als jouw God een God van liefde is zul je dat ook uitstralen en geven aan en delen met je omgeving. Pallas een vriendin van me noemt dat God in aktie, dan ben je een manifestatie van God en dus goddelijk
